Hand Sew a Card

Hand sewing a card is simple way to make hand made cards that look intricate.

 What you'll need:
     -thread (plain sewing thread or paper thread)
     -needle
     -thick paper (thick enough so paper will not rip but easy enough for a needle to go through)
     -pre-cut card

Father's Day Card: Nailed it

Here's a fun card to make for Father's Day or just a card to give to any male in your life for a birthday.

What you'll need:
-black/brown pre-made card or cardstock folded
-light brown paper
-colored pencils
-exacto blade, scissors
-glue

Including Buttons in Paper Crafts

There can be many ways to creatively include buttons in your scrapbooks and cards. Buttons can be used as holiday ornaments on Christmas cards, eyes on cartoon animals,or simple flowers. 

I have discovered the best way to attach buttons to paper is with hot glue, although I would recommend only using hot glue if you are gluing the button to heavy card-stock. Otherwise I have used small pieces of double sided foam tape (thin double-sided tape usually falls off).
