Hand sewing a card is simple way to make hand made cards that look intricate.
-thread (plain sewing thread or paper thread)
-needle
-thick paper (thick enough so paper will not rip but easy enough for a needle to go through)
-pre-cut card
1. Cut out a shape you want to thread. Trace shape on the back of the thick paper. This paper will be going on the front of the card so cut it to proper size.
2. Thread needle and double knot at the end of about 2 feet of string. Pull through paper so knot is on back.
3. Continue threading shape in criss-cross. It helps to push the needle through from behind where you can see the shape outline and then thread through that hole from the front.
4. When you are done threading, tie another knot at the back.
5. Glue/tape paper to the front of the card. Enjoy.
